The Children’s Workshop Establishes a New Corporate Childcare Program for RI & MA Businesses

The New Program provides additional discounts and incentives to help businesses follow through on “Family First” promises

Cumberland, RI — April 24, 2018 – The Children’s Workshop, a family owned, and parent operated, chain of early childhood education schools and child care centers with 19 locations in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, recently established a new corporate childcare benefits program called Family First.  The goal of the program is to bring affordable, comprehensive childcare benefits to area businesses looking to attract and retain employees. The discounts and incentives attract talented working parents that struggle to find convenient, reliable, and high-quality child care.

The Children’s Workshop offers high quality childcare and education for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years in most locations with programs for Infants, Toddlers , Preschool, PreK, and Before & After School care. Businesses that join Family First can access custom-designed benefits packages built specifically for employees with children. The program will include discounts, priority access to available slots, parenting classes and workshops, summer program enrollment benefits, and more.

“Caring for family is the one non-negotiable in all of our lives,” states Margaret Teller, Chief Executive Officer of The Children’s Workshop. “When they make accessing  quality child care easier for their employees, businesses attract and retain talent and increase productivity at work. We often hear that organizations claim to have a ‘family first’ company culture.  This program allows businesses to make good on those claims. Access to occasional backup care is simply not enough.  Childcare is a necessity and a financial burden for millions of Americans.  Employers can set themselves apart from their competition by offering meaningful child care benefits with this program.  This is another way The Children’s Workshop can help.”

The Company boasts an emergent, research-based nationally accredited curriculum that is teacher tested and child approved. Children’s Workshop schools offer summer programs, music, yoga, field trips to local beaches, lakes, and museums, nutritious hot meals, and transportation to and from schools for before and after school students.  The Company recently relaunched its website and offers daily photo, video and written communications with parents through text, email, and a parent app.

“As the owner of a very family friendly business, we couldn’t be more excited to team up with the great people at The Children’s Workshop and participate in their Family First program,” says Chris Whitten, Broker/Owner of Premeer Real Estate and one of the program’s first partners.  “Families always come first at Premeer Real Estate .  Our offices are family friendly, the majority of our charity work revolves around children and their families so it’s only natural to offer this great program to our agents and their families.”

The Children’s Workshop Family First Program is fully customizable to a business’s needs.  The program offers a sliding scale for discounts and additional perks to area businesses.
