The Children’s Workshop, located at 42 Franklin Street in Westerly, RI, joined BrightStars and is now recognized for its ongoing efforts to provide high standards of quality childcare. A BrightStars rating recognizes programs that demonstrate quality beyond state licensing standards. The Children’s Workshop has taken an important step and is making a big difference in the lives of children. With hard work and dedication, they have received a four out of five star rating.

Through our teachers’ hard work and implementation of BrightStars standards, we were able to achieve a high quality rating,” stated Chrissy Stanlewicz, Director of The Children’s Workshop. The Westerly location has programs for children ages 6 weeks through 5 years and they offer flexible schedules, convenient hours, and hot nutritious meals.
The Children’s Workshop is the only early learning facility in the Westerly area that is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). With the NAEYC accreditation and a 4-Star BrightStars rating, The Children’s Workshop in Westerly will continue to strive for excellence in childcare education.
In order to achieve a BrightStars rating, the program was assessed across many quality standards and criteria. A BrightStars rating provides accurate, reliable information about program quality to families in the community.
