Lincoln, RI – The Children’s Workshop is proud to announce the completion of renovations at the company’s first early childhood learning center at 25 Blackstone Valley Place in Lincoln, Rhode Island! The newly renovated facility will continue to offer programs for infants, toddlers, preschool, pre-kindergarten, and school aged children, but with updated and added space for each age group. There are currently openings in the infant room because of the added space!
A Grand Reopening Summer celebration is planned for June 21, 2017 from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM. All members of the community are invited to attend this FREE family-friendly event which will feature an appearance by Webster, our school mascot. Guests are then invited to take a tour and enjoy some refreshments and carnival themed activities, as well as an ice cream station.
The renovations in Lincoln include the addition of a fabulous gross motor space, a training room for new TCW employees, additional infant classrooms, a larger school age classroom, as well as updated playgrounds!
The Children’s Workshop offers programs for children 6 weeks through age 13, depending on location. The first school, located in Lincoln, RI opened its doors with only 18 children in 1990, but grew to 80 within a matter of months. It became clear that additional high-quality programs were sought by families throughout the region. The Children’s Workshop acquired and developed additional programs and now operates 19 schools throughout Rhode Island and Massachusetts, meeting educational and social and emotional needs of almost 2,000 children daily.
