The Children’s Workshop in Seekonk is located conveniently on Rt. 6. We offer high quality child care and education for infants, toddlers, preschool, and pre-kindergarten.
Our programs offer affordable rates, convenient hours and a great location with easy access to Route 195. In addition we utilize a nationally recognized curriculum and an approach to education that you will see in action in all our centers. Our developmentally appropriate classrooms are warm and inviting. Within each classroom you will find distinct learning centers such as blocks, sand and water, dramatic play, library, and computers. These well defined areas present clear activity choices to children and give them control over their time during center time. Learning materials are offered on low shelves and in labeled containers so they are easily accessible to children and they can gain a sense of independence.
Our curriculum provides a strong foundation for children’s academic success and our teachers provide a warm, nurturing environment in which every child can be successful. Children retain more when they are having fun, so our programs emphasize learning through play.
Parent Communication App
We have an extraordinary Parent Communication App that our teachers use daily to relay information and send pictures to family members, send newsletters, and track developmental progress for each child’s portfolio! With this application, parents/guardians are able to opt into email or text alerts and they can receive any information, instantaneously, about their child and their child’s school day.
Teachers and staff can tag daily pictures with our Developmental Domains (Social/Emotional, Physical, Artistic, Cognitive, and Language/Literacy) and are then able to communicate with the parents/guardians by adding captions or sending quick little notes.
Families LOVE this feature and we’re utilizing it more and more each day! We are so excited to be able to communicate with our families throughout the day and to show them what their children are learning each day.
For more information about our Parent Communication, please visit our Family Communication page or contact the Director of the school you are interested in learning more about!
We are VERY proud to be a NAEYC accredited center! For more information about NAEYC, the National Association for the Education of Young Children, and the high quality standards they demand of their accredited programs, please Visit the NAEYC website
We invite you to visit our center! Please stop by or call to schedule an appointment at 508-336-2677. We would love to meet you and your family.

Hi! My name is Lori Quigley, and I am the Director of The Children’s Workshop in Seekonk, MA. I started with TCW in 2015 at our Bourne location as a Kindergarten teacher. Although I loved being a teacher, I wanted to expand my career into management. In June of 2016, I was presented the opportunity to be closer to home and become Assistant Director of the Seekonk site. After just one short year, I was promoted to Director!
Education and children are my passion. I have never wanted to do anything else! Being able to work with children and help shape young, eager and inquisitive minds is something I never grow tired of. I truly love my profession, the staff that I work with, and getting to meet new families every day. I have a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Massachusetts, and have been in education since 1999. Most of my professional experience in teaching was in the Catholic School sector. I was also the Coordinator for Bristol Community College “Kid’s College” program for fifteen years.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my fiancé and traveling throughout New England on our Harley Davidson motorcycle (who would have guessed it, right?), or relaxing and reading a book in our back-yard oasis. I am the mom of two beautiful girls, Allie and Megan, as well as step mom to my fiancé’s children, Lynsey and Ian. I look forward to being your partner in education, and welcoming you to our TCW family here in Seekonk!
Beth joined TCW in October of 2017. She brings with her more than 25 years of experience in the field of early childhood and youth development. She began her career with Child Care of Southwest Florida (CCSWFL) in 1989 as the Director of the Suncoast After School Program. She left CCSWFL in June 1999 to work for the National School Age Care Alliance (now known as the National Afterschool Alliance) in Boston and then worked for a National based for profit, Knowledge Learning Corporation, managing after school programs. She returned to CCSWFL and the Fort Myers area in March 2006 to manage all their early education and school-age programs. In April 2008, she became the Executive Director at CCSWFL.
Beth has a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Physical Education from Eastern Connecticut State University and a Master’s degree in Management with a concentration in Diversity from Cambridge College in Cambridge, MA. Beth enjoys hiking, mountain biking, tennis, gardening, reading and spending time with her family and friends.
My children have been attending TCW in Seekonk for almost 5 years now. The Director and staff are excellent; I find them attentive and caring. I am very happy with the quality of care, curriculum, and environment that the Seekonk Children’s Workshop staff provides. TCW strives to engage both children and parents alike. They offer many opportunities for family fun nights, summer kick-offs, and most recently family paint night. We attend all of the additional activities that we can as a family; it is a great night out and a chance to meet other parents without the rush of getting to work/home from work. I will be devastated when my youngest enters elementary school and we have to make alternative arrangements!
My daughter has been at The Children’s Workshop in Seekonk for over 3 years. The staff is great and the director Lori is awesome. My daughter loves going there, not only has she learned a lot but built some great friendships. The program is excellent. I would definitely recommend them.
My daughter has been at TCW Seekonk for almost a year and she loves it. She really does get excited every morning to see the staff (and her classmates). The staff is always attentive, very friendly, and engaging. The ratio of staff to children is always sufficient to maintain constant supervision. They provide updates on the activities throughout the week via message boards, texts, and email. It’s more than just daycare; I am amazed at how much learning occurs each day. Children are encouraged to participate in individual and group activities while staff administers curriculum and guides the children’s behavior. There are also family events that allow parents/family to participate and see the children in a different environment.
