Hi! My name is Abbie-Jo Francis and I’m the Director of our Warren center. I grew up in Warren and now live in Bristol so I know the surrounding area and many of the great people who live and work here as well – it’s a great place to live and work!
I knew from an early age that I wanted to work with children. I hold an Associates Degree in Elementary Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, am a RI certified teacher and have 20 years of experience teaching and working with children. I have been with The Children’s Workshop since 2002 where I started as Head Teacher here in Warren. I then moved to Assistant Director and am now proud to serve as Director for this great school.
Please stop by and visit our Warren Center. I’d love to meet you, show you our newly renovated school, and introduce you to our fantastic teachers!
West Bridgewater Center
Hi there! My name is Amanda Miller and I am the Director of TCW West Bridgewater. I began my career with The Children’s Workshop in September 2016, but I have been in the Early Childhood field since October 1997! I have my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from UMASS Amherst and my Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Lesley University. I am also Director II certified through the Department of Early Education and Care.
My favorite thing about working with children is having the opportunity to watch them grow and develop. It’s awe-inspiring to watch an infant become a toddler and then a preschooler and know that I was fortunate enough to play a role in their learning and development through the years. I can honestly say that each day with children is a learning experience for me as much as it is for them!
I am a mom to three beautiful girls, Madelyn and twins Campbell & Courtney. I spend much of my weekend time at dance competitions or sporting events with my girls. To unwind, I enjoy a good book and love spending time with my family on the Cape!
I am looking forward to meeting you and your family and showing you our newest location!

In my role as School Age Coordinator and Assistant Director at TCW Pawtucket, I have overseen much of the school’s administration and programming. I am also fluent in both English and Spanish!
Come visit us at TCW Pawtucket! I’d love to show you just how wonderful our school is!
Hello, my name is Chrissy and I am the Director of our Westerly location.
I began my career at The Children’s Workshop in April 2002 as the assistant director at our Pawtucket center. Shortly thereafter, I was promoted to Director of that center. I was lucky enough to be part of a wonderful team that opened TCW Westerly in 2006.
While in college fifteen years ago, I was working as a toddler lead teacher. I instantly knew that I was born to work with young children, I couldn’t imagine doing anything else. I enjoy working with children of all ages, watching them grow and learn. You will see my happy son Jack playing and learning in the infant classroom. He is a true testament on the importance of Early Childhood education.
I am very excited to be part of a great team of dedicated teachers that are here for you and your child. I look forward to teaching your children and making new relationships with you all. As the director of this beautiful center, my door is always open! Please let me know what I can do for you.

Hello! My name is Jason and I am the Director of our school in Rumford. I hold a degree in Human Services and have over twenty years of experience working with children of all ages in various settings; most recently holding the position of Assistant Director of a Preschool serving families with children ages six months to twelve years old. Prior to that work experience, I was employed by Harmony Hill School, starting my career there in February of 2000 as a Vacation Relief Counselor and eventually working my way to the position of Campus Supervisor/ Weekend Manager.
Passionate about helping others succeed, I have dedicated the majority of my career doing so by working with both main stream and special populations. It has been quite rewarding watching young people reach their personal goals and milestones, despite the many challenges life can offer.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my wife and two children, as well as being outdoors, cooking and listening to all types of music.
Feel free to give me a call! I will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have and schedule you a tour of our facility. I am looking forward to introducing you to our dedicated teachers and showing you some examples of the exciting and enriching activities the children here are involved in!
