My name is Miss Tanya and I am the Director of The Children’s Workshop in Smithfield. I have been in the field of Early Childhood Education for over 15 years and have worked for The Children’s Workshop since 2005 when I joined the team at our Seekonk location, later becoming our School Director in Central Falls. I started out as a classroom teacher and as my experience and education grew, so did my passion to make a difference in the lives of children and families.
I believe that every child deserves a positive early learning experience because it is their first love of learning that will help them grow into lifelong learners. I would love to meet with you and show what our school has to offer. I know we will leave a lasting impression!
North Kingstown Center
Hello, my name is Ms. Leigh and I am the Director at our North Kingstown school! I currently hold my Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies with an Art concentration, as well as my Master’s degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I received my educator degrees in New York and received reciprocity from Rhode Island in 2014.
I grew up in Long Island, NY and moved to RI with my husband five years ago. I have two children, Ben and Faye, who also attend TCW North Kingstown. In my spare time I like to travel, go to the beach, garden, do DIY projects around the house, and spend time with my family.
I am passionate about working with young children. There is no greater joy than to watch the growth and development of a child and to help support and assist them in accomplishing their goals. As an educator, my goal is to pave the foundation for my students to become successful, confident, and enthusiastic lifelong learners! Stop by TCW North Kingstown and I can give you a tour of our wonderful facility!
My name is Liz Guido and I am the Director at our Cranston location! I have been with The Children’s Workshop since June, 2014. I began working in the Cranston location teaching Kindergarten and I have worked in all classrooms, infants through school age. Prior to returning to TCW Cranston, I was the Assistant Director of our Norwood location!

I am DIrector II certified in Massachusetts and I also have my state teaching license in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts. I am currently in the process of obtaining my Master’s degree in Special Education from Rhode Island College.
My favorite part of working with children is seeing the dedication of the teachers and their magnitude of warmth and knowledge. In my spare time, I enjoy camping, the great outdoors, and spending time with my husband, Vinny and our two dogs. We recently added a brand new member of the family; our son, Dominic, who will attend TCW Smithfield!
I’d love to meet you and your family, so come by TCW Cranston and tour our facility and meet our wonderful teachers!
Hi! My name is Lori Quigley, and I am the Director of The Children’s Workshop in Seekonk, MA. I started with TCW in 2015 at our Bourne location as a Kindergarten teacher. Although I loved being a teacher, I wanted to expand my career into management. In June of 2016, I was presented the opportunity to be closer to home and become Assistant Director of the Seekonk site. After just one short year, I was promoted to Director!
Education and children are my passion. I have never wanted to do anything else! Being able to work with children and help shape young, eager and inquisitive minds is something I never grow tired of. I truly love my profession, the staff that I work with, and getting to meet new families every day. I have a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Massachusetts, and have been in education since 1999. Most of my professional experience in teaching was in the Catholic School sector. I was also the Coordinator for Bristol Community College “Kid’s College” program for fifteen years.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my fiancé and traveling throughout New England on our Harley Davidson motorcycle (who would have guessed it, right?), or relaxing and reading a book in our back-yard oasis. I am the mom of two beautiful girls, Allie and Megan, as well as step mom to my fiancé’s children, Lynsey and Ian. I look forward to being your partner in education, and welcoming you to our TCW family here in Seekonk!
I joined The Children’s Workshop in November 2014. During these four years I have worked in classrooms, provided support to numerous centers, and served as director, and interim director. Prior to joining TCW I worked in the field of early childhood education on and off since 1992. In addition to working with young children, I have also worked in a substantially separate special needs middle school classroom, taught high school English, and managed a food service program. It was during my time teaching high school that I came to the decision to return to teaching young children; realizing that providing a firm developmental and academic foundation was the best way to foster later school and life success. I hold a bachelor’s degree in management, have taken many early childhood classes, and have begun working on a master’s in early childhood education.
I am passionate about the field of early childhood education because there is no greater joy, than to witness and be part of a child’s evolution. Every child has special gifts to offer the world and my work allows me to help bring those gifts to light. And as a director I have the opportunity to work with others to create such an environment for this to happen.
On my own time, I enjoy travelling with my husband, spending time with my daughters and their families, as well as crafting, cooking, gardening, and sewing.
