Lori Quigley

Seekonk Center

Hi! My name is Lori Quigley, and I am the Director of The Children’s Workshop in Seekonk, MA. I started with TCW in 2015 at our Bourne location as a Kindergarten teacher. Although I loved being a teacher, I wanted to expand my career into management. In June of 2016, I was presented the opportunity to be closer to home and become Assistant Director of the Seekonk site. After just one short year, I was promoted to Director!

Education and children are my passion. I have never wanted to do anything else! Being able to work with children and help shape young, eager and inquisitive minds is something I never grow tired of. I truly love my profession, the staff that I work with, and getting to meet new families every day. I have a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Massachusetts, and have been in education since 1999. Most of my professional experience in teaching was in the Catholic School sector. I was also the Coordinator for Bristol Community College “Kid’s College” program for fifteen years.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my fiancé and traveling throughout New England on our Harley Davidson motorcycle (who would have guessed it, right?), or relaxing and reading a book in our back-yard oasis. I am the mom of two beautiful girls, Allie and Megan, as well as step mom to my fiancé’s children, Lynsey and Ian. I look forward to being your partner in education, and welcoming you to our TCW family here in Seekonk!

I graduated from Fisher College with an Associates in Early Childhood Education and am currently working toward a Bachelor’s Degree at Eastern Nazarene College.  I have worked in the early childhood profession for over 20 years and love meeting and getting to know new families.  What I like most about teaching children is when the light “comes on” and you can see that they understand what you are teaching, it is so rewarding.  I live in Rehoboth and have two grown sons.  In my spare time I enjoy camping, boating and snowmobiling.
