Catherine McGuigginHi! My name is Catherine and I am the director of the amazing Children's Workshop located in Waltham, Massachusetts!
I began working for The Children's Workshop in August 2010. My roots are from Scituate, MA where I was born and grew up. I later attended the University of Rochester, in Rochester, NY and received a degree in Geology and Secondary Education as well as a teaching certificate in Earth Science/General Science. After teaching high school I wanted to broaden my field knowledge in education so I returned to school and continued studies in Early Childhood Education at St. Petersburg College in Clearwater, FL. I have been working in the field of Early Childhood Education since 1990, and have had the pleasure of being the Director of three separate centers. My most recent experience before coming to work for The Children's Workshop was directing a center in Millis, MA for ten years.
I enjoy working with children of every age and watching them learn and grow. My favorite part of any day is when a child tells me, "You know what Miss Catherine...." When I retire I will publish the best seller entitled "Famous Quotes of Amazing Children." When I am not at The Children's Workshop I am spending time with my two children, Keegan and Macy. We enjoy spending time outdoors, with family, and at the beach.
Please stop by and visit our beautiful Waltham location - our teachers are the best around and we cannot wait to welcome you to the TCW family!

Chrissy StanlewiczHello, my name is Chrissy and I am the Director of our Westerly location.
I began my career at The Children’s Workshop in April 2002 as the assistant director at our Pawtucket center. Shortly thereafter, I was promoted to Director of that center. I was lucky enough to be part of a wonderful team that opened TCW Westerly in 2006.
While in college fifteen years ago, I was working as a toddler lead teacher. I instantly knew that I was born to work with young children, I couldn’t imagine doing anything else. I enjoy working with children of all ages, watching them grow and learn. You will see my happy son Jack playing and learning in the infant classroom. He is a true testament on the importance of Early Childhood education.
I am very excited to be part of a great team of dedicated teachers that are here for you and your child. I look forward to teaching your children and making new relationships with you all. As the director of this beautiful center, my door is always open! Please let me know what I can do for you.

Corrine HordMy name is Corinne and I am the Director of The Children’s Workshop in Westborough!
I have been working in the early childhood field for fifteen years. I have taught all age groups from infants to pre-k. Although I absolutely love being in a classroom, I truly enjoy being in a Director’s role, mentoring staff and forming wonderful relationships with families who cross my path. I have been working for The Children’s Workshop since February 2012. I am Director II certified by the state of Massachusetts and will be continuing my education in childcare administration.
Though I spend many hours working with children and staff, my heart is at home with my two amazing children, Michael and Kayleigh and my wonderful husband, Pat. My children have taught me more lessons in their life than a lifetime of education could ever teach. We enjoy watching our daughter’s soccer games, son’s football games and vacationing on Martha’s Vineyard and Cape Cod.
I am ecstatic to be a part of the TCW family and look forward to filling our center with the beautiful faces of children! They say, “If you love your job, you haven't worked a day in your life.” That is so true!
